Apple has already talked about some of the noteworthy features in the upcoming public release of the iOS, expected to be available in September. What’s important to note here is that the iOS 13 update will not work on older iPhones.

Following are some top iOS 13 features you can expect from the upcoming release:

Sign-in with Apple

This will let users log in to their social media or other app accounts. The feature is similar to sign-in with Google or Facebook. Signing-in with Apple will obscure a user’s email ID, making it more private.

App Permissions

Users need to grant location access to an app for one time only. However, the app will prompt user for permission every time it needs to use the location.

Dark Mode

This is a major highlight of iOS 13. The dark background to Apple apps is expected to work with the third-party apps as well.

Photos tab

The Photos app will be organising photos into categories based on days, month, and year offering users more options to search and find what they are looking for.

Optimised battery charging

Regular charging of an iPhone can damage the battery over a period of time. A new option in iOS 13 will allow users to prolong the battery life by learning about your charging habits. The iOS 13 will prevent the battery from immediately charging to 100%.

iMessage Search

Searching old messages in the iMessage app was impossible in the past. That has changed now. You can now search for a single word or phrase in iMessage and the app will instantly display the results.

Search iPhone with your voice

Apple has added a new microphone sign in the right side of the search bar. All you have to do is to tap the new icon to enter your search query by voice. Apps like Mail, Messages, Settings finally get voice search option.
